The Catholic Congregation of the Blind (CCB) is a religious community of blind men who seek to serve Christ, the Church, and the world through a life of prayer and work. The CB was established in 1990 in Kerala, India by two young blind men; Fr. Wilson Kallikkal (founder) and Br. Xavier K. Puthuparambil (co-founder). Other blind men soon joined in community with these two founders, and the Catholic Congregation of the Blind was approved in the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly (India) in 1995.
